What this role really is
A premium in-home service-and-sales role with technical execution. Every day you'll:
- Walk into homes where the customer already called us
- Diagnose the problem
- Present repair-vs-replace options with confidence
- Close the job on the spot — and do the work yourself to a high standard
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year garage-door service experience (springs, openers, installs, full systems)
- Comfortable selling in the home — options, objections, closing — without getting defensive or reflexively discounting
- Can run a call independently, start to finish
- Takes pride in clean, professional work
- Clear communication with customers in English
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record
- Available for a rotation incl. some weekends, holidays & evenings
- Able to pass a background check & drug test
- A genuinely nice person, a team player, and humble — non-negotiable

What we'll ask on your application
Concrete and skills-focused — the sharper questions come in a live conversation.
- How many years of garage-door experience do you have, and what do you handle — springs, openers, full installs, panel replacements? Be specific.
- Walk us through a recent service call: the problem, what you presented to the homeowner, and how you closed it.
- A homeowner says, "That's a lot more than the last company quoted me." Walk us through exactly what you'd say and do.
- Why are you looking to leave your current company, and what would make your next role the right one?
- Can you confirm: valid license & clean record; able to lift 100 lbs; available for weekend/holiday/evening rotation; able to pass a background check & drug test? YES / NO
